1. open menu from your home screen and select settings in it
2. scroll down to "about phone" this is located in the bottom of the setting list Tab it to open your device's information screen
3. Tab "software update" option this my also be labled as "system updates"
4. Tab "check for updates " this may be labled as "updates" your device will see to check for updates are available,update avalibility is dependent on your device manufacturer as well as your mobile service provider .new updates my not be always be available for all devices
5. Tab "restart and install" once the update has downloading,the device will needs to restart in order to reinstall the software,this will render your device inoperable for few mintues during the upates process
